What are you currently reading?

I have been having a tough time concentrating this past week so I have been bouncing between books. All three are for the Pop Culture Readathon I am participating in this month.

Sydney Prescott- Mayhem 

This book is described as The Lost Boys meets The Craft and what more could anybody need to know? This book is a lot of fun but also deals with some serious issues. I will have my full review up on Friday since I’m participating in the blog tour.

What’s Your Favorite Scary Movie?- Home Before Dark

Riley Sager is my favorite mystery/thriller author and he definitely brings the creep with this book. I would describe Home Before Dark has The Amityville Horror meets The Haunting of Hill House. I don’t want to say much more than that but I think a lot of people will really like this book.

Scream 2- A Sweet Mess

I’m only a few chapters into it but I have been a huge fan of Jayci Lee since I read her debut, Temporary Wife Temptation, earlier this year. I’m also a huge fan of bakery romances/mysteries so I feel very confident that I’m going to absolutely love this one.

What have you recently finished?

I reviewed A Reunion of Rivals on Monday and I will leave the link to it below. I also finished The Woman before Wallis on Saturday and I enjoyed it so much. I will have my review up for this on the 23rd.

What do you think you will read next?

This weekend is Becca’s BookoplAthon  and these are the books that I chose for the first two prompts. I will be starting with Beach Read and if I have time I will move onto Magic Bites.
