July 2026 Wrap Up

I technically finished 8 books in the month of July but a few of them were already started prior to the month. Actually War and Peace took me about 18 months to complete because I really took my time with it. It was an intentional slow read on my part (although I was aiming for a year initially) and I feel like maybe in the future I will reread a less beautiful edition and mark it up with all my favorite quotes.

This is just a graphic wrap up of all the books I read but I will leave here links to my recent read posts where you can here more about my thoughts on all of these as well as see my dnf’s.

I'm a SAHM of three boys. I was lucky enough to marry my best friend who is totally ok with my book hoarding tendencies. I have been a lover of books my whole life and it has been such a blessing to be able to share that love with my kids.

  1. I know War and Peace is a long book but I don’t think I could pay attention to a book for 18 months!! I would either get sucked in and finish it quickly or I would get bored and DNF it. Kudos to you for taking your time and enjoying it! I read War and Peace in High School so had to read it pretty quick but I remember liking it!
