May TBR

Last month was pretty much a fail for me TBR wise so I have decided to switch things up for this month. I have a ton of really amazing books sitting on my Netgalley shelf so I have decided that those will be my priority for May. Especially since we have 31 days next month so there’s a little bit more time to get some reading in. I will still be aiming to read my Literally Dead Book Club pick, my monthly classic, as well as my 3 Romanceopoly rolls. I would also love to catch up on all the TBR books I have missed so far this year but those will be bonus reads if I get to them.

Also, if you have noticed in the past I usually have a theme for picking my classic of the month. Black history month, Women’s history month and Arab American history month have been ones I have participated in so far this year. May happens to be Vascular Birthmark awareness month which is very close to my heart since my youngest son was born with a port wine stain on his chin and part of his bottom lip. So I thought for this month that for very book I read I will donate $5 to The Vascular Birthmark Foundation.

*I am also currently reading a review book that has a main character with a port wine stain and it comes out early next month so it’s perfect timing. Although it is a high school bully romance so it brings up a lot of emotions for me that are not always positive.  Which obviously is a me problem and not a book problem. Anyways, I just wanted to mention it since I think the timing is great and I’m excited for there to be more books about characters with vascular birthmarks.
