WWW Wednesday 2.3.21

This fun weekly meme is hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Worlds and all you need to do to participate is answer the following three questions:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What have you recently finished?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

I started reading Lakewood which I’m reading for Blackathon and I’m already so obsessed with it. It’s very creepy and I’m only a few chapters into it but it is giving me Get Out vibes. I feel like this is one I could sit and read all in one sitting if I carved out the time which I may do tomorrow.

Pet is another one that I think I could read in one sitting because the writing is phenomenal. It is a pretty short YA as well and I love the whole idea of this story and the world that Emezi has created.

What have you recently finished?

My January Wrap Up will be going up tomorrow but I really enjoyed all these reads. I don’t rate memoirs but the other three were all high four or five stars.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I tried reading The Testing on the first of this month and I was getting so annoyed with the writing that I decided to just put it down. I liked where the story was going though so I think I’m going to switch to the audiobook and try to get through it that way.

I got an ARC of Triple Chocolate Cheesecake Murder and I’m so excited to get into it. I own most of this series but I keep jumping around and reading them out of order. I don’t think it matters too much but I think I might go back and start reading them in order at some point.
