This week feels like it has gone on forever! I can’t get over the fact that it is only Wednesday when it feels like it should be the weekend. It might be because this is the last full week of school for my boys and we are all anxious for distance learning to be over. But let’s celebrate being half over with this week by taking part in my favorite weekly meme that is hosted by Sam atΒ Taking on a World of Words. All you need to do to participate is answer the following three questions:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading

I am so close to being done with Sister Dear which is perfect timing since my blog tour review for it is going up tomorrow. I am about 150 pages in to Wundersmith which I’m reading for both Romanceopoly and the Believathon. I have completely failed at Believeathon but I do hope to at least finish two books for it. Which would mean finishing Wundersmith and the reading another one all before Monday. But they are middle grade so I think that’s doable.

What did you recently finish reading?

I read these ones over the weekend. The first two were for review posts that went up on Monday and Tuesday and the last one I read for the Literally Dead Bookclub. I am hopefully going to have a review up for Fragments of the Lost sometime this month. I do think the book lives up to the name fragment because the story was told in such a disjointed way but unfortunately that way of storytelling didn’t really work for me.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I haven’t decided which middle grade book I want to read next but I do know that I want to pick this one up next. This is a young adult mystery/thriller that comes out June 2 and I would love to have my review written and scheduled for its release date. The cover of this book creeps (ha!) me out so much that I’m not sure if that actual story will live up to it.
