I wasn’t planning on participating in any readathons this month since I really want to focus on my Netgalley TBR but I kept seeing this one and I decided to go for it. The biggest reason I want to participate is because my oldest son is a huge reader and while he has started getting into YA he still reads quite a bit of middle grade. I thought this would be a fun way for us to read books together and talk about them. One of the books I plan on reading for this readathon is one that I have been reading to him so it’s a little bit of a cheat since we are so close to finishing it already. The other books though we plan on reading separately and then talking about when we are both done so we will see how many we can get to during the two weeks. There is one book on this list that my son has already read and coincidentally I need to read for Romaceopoly this week so really this readathon couldn’t have come at a better time.
