Last month I was tagged by the lovely Kathy at Books & Munches to do the Prediction Book Tag. The original creator of this tag is Book Princess Reviews and the rules are as follows:
- Tag the person who tagged you
- Tag the creator
- Find an answer to match each prompt
- Have Fun!
Prediction for my next read
This is an easy one since I just shared that I would reading this on my WWW post this past Wednesday. I hope to start it this weekend!
Prediction for my next 5 star read
At the end of last year I posted about my 20 five star predictions for 2020 and this book is on there. I’m reading this as part of my OWLS and I really hope that I love it as much as I think I will.
Prediction for my next 1 star read
This is a hard one because I rarely rate a book one star. If I’m not liking something then I just DNF it but since the rule is to come up with an answer for every question this is the one I went with. It has been a long time since I read a Sookie Stackhouse book and I remember them being over the top and sort of ridiculous. I hope that I like this but out of all the books on my TBR this is the one I think I am most likely not to enjoy.
Prediction for my next love interest/cool character
This was my Kindle Unlimited pick for last month and I still really want to read it because the main character sounds right up my alley. I’m going to put the synopsis of the book here because Jack just sounds so swoon worthy.
A full-length STANDALONE romantic comedy from USA TODAY bestselling author R.S. Grey.
Everyone in Cedar Creek, Texas, knows Jack McNight is an arrogant devil. Physically, I get it: he’s tan and fit, with coal-black hair that’s clearly been scorched by hellfire. Oh, and his personality? It burns just as hot.
When I show up on the doorstep of Blue Stone Ranch, I’m run-down and rockin’ my last pair of underwear. I’m hoping for a savior, but instead, I find him.
My opinion of Jack is marred by a dismal first impression, but his opinion of me is tainted even before I arrive. He’s heard I’m a spoiled princess there to take advantage of his goodwill. To him, I’m more trouble than I’m worth.
Our button-pushing banter should get under my skin. His arrogance should be a major turn-off. Problem is, devils are known to offer their own form of temptation.
Every one of his steely glares sends a shiver down my spine.
Every steamy encounter leaves me reeling.
Sure, it could be the Texas heat messing with my head, but there’s no way I’ll survive the summer without silencing him with a kiss and wrestling him out of those Wranglers.
Who knows…going to bed with the devil might just be the salvation I’ve been looking for all along.
Prediction for my next book buy
I meant to order this last month but I got sidetracked with everything that has been going on. If you are in the position to buy books then I really want to encourage everyone to use bookshop.org instead of Amazon. Barnes and Noble online is another great resource so we can hopefully keep our favorite bookstores afloat during this difficult time.
Prediction for my next book to give me a hangover
Which is exactly why I have been avoiding reading this book. All Your Perfects put me into a month long hangover and I just need to be in the right emotional headspace to take this book on.
Now for the fun part where I get to tag some people!
Thanks for the tag, Cassie! I’m delighted and I hope to do this soon. Thanks! Happy reading and keep safe! 🙂
