It’s the first day of the new month and I am feeling energized. I am wishing you all good health and safety as this craziness is becoming our new normal (for now!). This weekly meme is hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words and all you need to do to participate is answer the following three questions:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you will read next?
What are you currently reading?
This was on my March TBR which I kinda failed at but I at least I started it before the month was over. I’m about 150 pages in and the more we get into the story the more I’m liking it.
What did you recently finish reading?
This weekend all I did was read and watch Netflix which was the perfect way for me to just relax and get in the mindset of productivity. The first book I finished was My Maddie which I read in two sittings and while it is my least favorite of the Hades Hangmen novels it was still amazing to be back in that world. I then finished Room which I thought was just ok and I actually think it might make a better movie than book. Although I have never seen the movie and I don’t really want to see it but I do remember people raving about it when it came out. Yesterday I finished Truths I Never Told You and while I enjoyed the beginning I think it tried to do too much and it did the book a disservice. I will have a blog tour review coming this month.
What do you think you will read next?
I got this out from the library in February and then I just never prioritized it. I have been dying to read this series since my favorite YA to read is mystery/thrillers. I’m not sure if I will love it or not but maybe if I do I will buy the whole trilogy.
I’ve been meaning to read Scythe, it looks great trilogy. Hope you enjoy!
