This weekly meme is hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words and all you need to do to participate is answer the following three questions.
What are you currently reading?

I’m still in the early days of 11/22/63 but so far I’m intrigued to see where this story is going to go. I hear so many great things about this Stephen King and I’m expecting to love it as well.
My bookclub is reading Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow and I’m loving it. We read the first half of the book and meet and then meet up again after a couple of weeks once we’ve finished. The writing of this one is so good but I am starting to get a little frustrated about all the miscommunication. However, the story is fascinating and I can see why it made so many best of the year awards last year. I won’t pick this up again until it’s closer to that time that we meet so it’s still fresh in my mind.
What have you recently finished?

I finished my reread of The Lightening Thief and I gave it four stars again. I did enjoy it more this time around and I’m looking forward to picking up the second book in the series later this month.
I chose Ruthless for my second Romanceopoly roll which was to read a fantasy. I’m planning on doing a post every month or so about how I’m doing with Romanceopoly because I’m so excited that it’s back. Thanks to Misty for sharing about it because I’ve missed participating in it the past couple of years. I will have my review for Ruthless up either this weekend or early next week. It was a 3.5 star read for me.
What do you think you’ll read next?
My third Romanceopoly roll was to read a Paranormal romance so I’ve decided to pick up Heir which is the second book in the Bloodline Vampires series. This is a quick read that I can pick up when I need a break from 11/22/63 and I’m looking forward to continuing this series.
Synopsis:
My father’s trap failed, but I’m no closer to freedom than when he declared me sacrifice. Now, thanks to the seraphim blood running through my veins, I’m bonded to Malachi, Rylan, and Wolf.
Our connection forces us into intimacy that none of us want, but the price of resisting will cost us our very lives. There’s only one path out of this. I have to get pregnant so I can become my father’s heir, and kill him before he assassinates me.
I need time. Time to figure out things with my men. Time to come up with a better plan. Just flat out time.
I’ve spent my entire life avoiding confrontation and running instead of fighting.
Running isn’t an option this time.
Now, I’m prepared to go to war to survive.
Heir is the second book in the Bloodline Vampires trilogy, and should be read following Sacrifice.
CW: Dubious consent, blood play, breeding, abusive parent (father), cliffhanger

I loved Tomorrow Tomorrow and Tomorrow even though it didn’t sound like my sort of book. Hope you enjoy the second half too

It is so much better than the synopsis makes it sound!

Yes. I would never have picked it up if I hadn’t read reviews saying how good it was.

I hardly read any romance last year so I’m excited to dive back into one of my favorite genres haha

Romance is my favorite. I don’t think I could that long without reading romance in some form whether it be the main focus of the story or just a side plot of a different genre.
