Stitching

Stitching Saturday… on a Sunday 2.20.22

Last week was a bit of a rough one for me and I didn’t do a lot of stitching. Yesterday was the 5 year anniversary of my Grandma passing away and it hit me a lot harder than I was expecting. There was a couple of days where I only worked one piece of thread into my morning project and that was it. At least my morning project was the piece I want to finish this year so I made some good progress on that one.

WIPS

I haven’t shown this one in a few weeks but I work on it every Sunday. I’ve made more progress so far today than I did all of last Sunday which is great.

I finished my gingerbread girl! She is so cute and I’m excited to work on her companion. There is no way that I’m going to finish this month’s WIPGO pieces this month so they will have to roll over into next month.

I’m at 13.65% done.

I only have 135 stitches left until I’m done with this stop of the “bike around Germany” challenge. I’m not sure if I will immediately start working on the next stop once I finish them or try to work more on my WIPGO pieces. The next stop is over 1,000 stitches so it would be better to start working on it as soon as possible.

Plans

This is my morning project for this week. I’m stitching this 2 over 2 on this beautiful cashel linen and I love working on it. Instead of stitching the dog I’m going to put in a cat if I remember to do it.
