Happy Cinco De Mayo! This fun weekly meme is hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words and all you need to do to participate is answer the following three questions:
- What are you currently reading?
- What have you recently finished reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
What are you currently reading?
I just started Catherine House last night and I have been avoiding reading the synopsis so I have no idea what this book is about. The writing is very creepy and I’m enjoying myself even though the plot is seemingly meandering around right now. I know people either love or hate this book and I’m hoping I fall into the love it category.
My buddy reading group is reading House of Hollow this week and I am really loving this YA horror. This book is creepy, atmospheric, and captivating. I am loving the way the story/mystery of what happened to the eldest Hollow sister is being unraveled and I hope the ending lives up to the rest of the story.
What have you recently finished?
I started off the month reading Local Woman Missing for an upcoming blog tour post. I really enjoyed the way Mary Kubica told this story and I gave it four stars. My post with my full thoughts on it will be coming at the end of this month.
I wanted to read something quick after I finished Local Woman Missing so I picked up the third volume of Archie that I got from the library. This is the one that introduces Cheryl Blossom and I really enjoyed what she brought to the story. I gave it 5 stars.
What do you think you’ll read next?
I’m not feeling the best today (It’s 95 degrees today and I need to figure out how to manage the heat- thank goodness my house has air conditioning!) but it works out because I need to read New Girl in Little Cove for a blog tour post tomorrow.
Once I finish reading Catherine House I think I will probably pick up Vol 4 of Archie because I grabbed a few volumes from the library and I need to work my way through them.
I loved His & Hers. Enjoy your books!
