Amish in April Readathon

The Bookish Knitter on Youtube announced this monthlong readathon last week and I did a search on my Kindle of the word Amish and five books came up. I’m sure I have more Amish books but five seems like a reasonable number coupled with the rest of my April TBR. I mostly want to participate in this readathon because I want to make sure that I am consistently trying to read books on my Kindle since I buy so many of them every week!

This readathon has the them of “Triple C” because all nine prompts start with letter “C” and so you use the board to connect three words together and find a book that fits all those prompts. The only word that I kind of stretched was connection because in the video she says it means a book in a series that you have previously read but I’m just using it as a book in a series. For the classic prompt I went on the Libby app and checked out a book that was from a recommended author so I ended up with six books for this list. My goal is to read all six of them but we’ll see how much I can actually get done this month. I’m being pretty ambitious but I also have in the back of my mind that Dewey’s 24 hr readathon is at the end of the month so I do have that in my back pocket!
