Review

This is such a beautiful romance with two great characters. Mick and Jules were easy to root for because they had such great chemistry and they both are just really good people. Jules has had such a lonely life and I loved seeing her open herself up to more and realize what she deserves in life. Trigger warning for terrible parenting because Jules has some very cold and awful parents. Mick is an easy hero to fall in love with but I couldn’t help but feel that he was just a little too much of a cinnamon roll. That is very much a personal thing though because I tend to like my romances with some grit. I also really enjoyed Eve’s storyline and I was thrilled when I realized that she is the heroine of the next book in the series. But what I really appreciated about her story is that she is a nurse and there is a lot of emphasis placed on how important it is for a nurse to be compassionate and treat their patients with dignity and I couldn’t agree with this more. My nurses when I was in the hospital actually sent me a card a week after I was home and I can’t tell you how much that still means to me all these months later. This is my second Rebecca Sharp book and I have fallen in love with her gorgeous almost lyrical writing and she writes some of my favorite sweet romances. Which isn’t to say that this is boring because there is some action and bad stuff going on behind this delightful romance. I highly recommend to all my fellow romance lovers because you can’t go wrong with a stunning setting, wonderful writing and splendid characters.

Dr. Rebecca Sharp, while using a pen name, is actually a doctor living in Pennsylvania with her husband – the love of her life.

She enjoys working in her practice with her father as well as letting her creativity run free as an author. Growing up she’s always loved a good love story and finally decided to give writing one of her own a go.

After graduating with her doctoral degree, she now enjoys spending that thing called free time traveling with her husband, cooking, and knitting.
