Last month I read 13 books and dnf’d one. As usual I’m woefully behind on reviews but if I have any I will link them for you. I have these separated by star rating going from best to worst.

At first I was really liking this family drama of a parent and a sister who are trying to cope with the loss of the youngest sister. This Bengali American family had become fractured when their daughter comes out to them. Before they can fix things between them she unfortunately passed away in a car accident. It has now been ten years and we are following along as they try to honor their daughter/sister plus deal with how the loss has affected them. Where the story lost me is when it started introducing other characters and we were getting flashbacks to their past events. And those events had nothing to do with the main family or their loss. This book is only 288 pages so it needed to be more focused to truly tell the tale it was trying to.
