This weekly meme is hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words and all you need to do to participate is answer the following three questions:

What are you currently reading?

Technically, I’m still reading The Illuminaries and the Vanishing Half but they have been put on pause for the release of the year…. House of Flame and Shadow. I have been reading this book almost non stop since I noticed it was on my kindle a little after 9pm on Monday night. I should have realized that everything always releases on east coast time so I would get it earlier . But I’ve slowed down a bit as I’ve come close to the end because I don’t want my time with this book to be over already. But I am so in love with these characters that I can’t stop myself from turning page after page. This book has invigorated me so much that my next audiobook with be the tandem read for Throne of Glass. I still do not have good feelings about TOG but I am actually excited to pick those books up again.

What have you recently finished?

I’ve been trying to catch up with my reviews so hopefully you will see reviews of all three of these next month. All of them are great and I enjoyed that I read them so closely together but they are all different genres. It made it easy to dip in and out of each one. Definitely check content warnings for In the Garden of Spite because that book goes to some dark places. And it’s based on a true story which makes it a pretty unsettling read.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I’m not sure if I will like this or not so I thought I would give it a shot first for my February TBR so I can either move on from it or hopefully end up enjoying it. I think this has already been published in the UK but comes out in America April 1.

They say the camera never lies.
But on this show, you can’t trust anything you see.

Stranded in the Welsh mountains, seven reality show contestants have no idea what they’ve signed up for.

Each of these strangers has a secret. If another player can guess the truth, they won’t just be eliminated – they’ll be exposed live on air. The stakes are higher than they’d ever imagined, and they’re trapped.

The disappearance of a contestant wasn’t supposed to be part of the drama. Detective Ffion Morgan has to put aside what she’s watched on screen, and find out who these people really are – knowing she can’t trust any of them.

And when a murderer strikes, Ffion knows every one of her suspects has an alibi . . . and a secret worth killing for.
