In June I posted a Summer TBR and now that summer is pretty much over I’m here today to wrap up how many I actually read and what I thought about them. There were 19 books plus the ACOTAR series. Out of those I only read 13. Next week I have my Fall TBR coming because I really enjoyed having a list of books to choose from because it helped narrow down my choices. And I’m hoping to check more off of that list.
Currently Reading
I read ACOTAR last month and picked up ACOMAF last week. Something clicked for me while reading A Court of Mist and Fury and I am now obsessed with this series. I stayed up late last night and finished ACOMAF and then immediately started and read 15 chapters of ACOWAR. I will be exclusively reading these books until I’m caught up with the series because I just never want to leave Rhysand and the Night Court.
DNF
I didn’t like the narrator of the story and the little bit of the story I read felt pretty repetitive.

Books With Cassie 
Really interesting. I read ACOTAR and ACOMAF some months ago and while I went through with the first only to give it a chance and admittingly, the end was finally somewhat better, I continued with ACOMAF. But besides all of me giving it a lot of chances, I ended up in DNF it on like 90ish%. I just couldn’t finish it at this point haha. And I really tried
Fourth Wind is also interesting – while I enjoyed the read, I only see it as mediocre for various reasons. But I’m glad you enjoyed both of them!

I can see how you would feel that way about both those series. Especially Fourth Wing. But I love the characters and the world so much that I’m willing to look past its flaws haha

I really need to pick up a Freida McFadden book. Everyone keeps giving her such great reviews and high ratings. I am slacking.
