August was the craziest month this year for both reading and life. I had so much going on but I also read like a mad woman. Probably because books are an escape so I tend to read more to destress. I managed to read 18 books but I also DNF’d 6 books. Which is wild since the other seven months of this year I only DNF’d 3 books. I just found myself getting bored and not wanting to continue since there are hundreds of books I want to read. But, surprisingly, I did read a couple of low rated books that for some reason kept my attention the whole way through even if I didn’t enjoy the story. I will be grouping these books from worst to best. Although to be fair, the DNF’s could be great books but I just wasn’t invested enough to find out.

This was such a disappointment! I loved the first book in this series, The Night Swim, so much and this just fell so flat. It was a book written during the pandemic so I’m hopeful that if she writes another book in this series that it will be much better.

The first time I read ACOTAR I gave it 2 stars and upon rereading it I upped it to 3 stars.

I read 3 volumes of The Promised Neverland and I gave all of them five stars.

I fully get the 2-3 stars for ACOTAR 😆
